Why Italian people are so dark skinned compared to Southern Spaniards?
I have been to Spain and Italy. In Southern Spain there was people with pale skin and people with tanned skin but most of them had pale skin. However, when I went to Italy people had darker skin, even in Milano (Northern Italy). I have seen Southern Spaniards more light skinned than many Northern Italians and it is supposed that in Northern Italy the weather is cold and in Southern Spain very hot.
Why northern Italians have darker skin than Southern Italians?
