We were new to the area, and thought that we were going to be adventurous and go since the service was supposed to be in English, as stated on several websites.  We were turned away at the door by some of the parishioners.  If you are white or non-Vietnamese, I would find another parish.  I have never been turned away from a religious service - Roman/Byzantine Catholic or Orthodox here, in Europe or Vietnam itself, afternoon Muslim prayers in the Middle East, or Buddhist or Shinto services in Japan.  This place is unique and the parishioners should re-examine their own personal experiences of exclusion and adaption into society.  This was an open mass published as so on Arlington Diocese websites open to all.
